Hi Barbara just want you to know that i really love your wireless show. I am a driver for RING AND RIDE at the BOLTON DEPOT,which is a charity mini bus company for the elderly, disabled, and people who find it difficult to get out and about using public transport.
most of the passengers are people who remember the songs you play, and they love it.
i usually allways do the late shifts which are between 3:30 and 11:00 at night,so i listen to your program most days, and the regular passengers always look forward to listing to your music.will it be possable to say hello to the passengers that i will have on the bus TUESDAY 7th JUNE.at about 4:15ish (not sure who the passengers will be as the bus runs vary from week to week).
thank you for sparing the time to read this message,by the waymyself and the wife are big ROCK N ROLL fans,we have all the rock n roll gear (me) pink and black rock n roll suite, complete with pink and black suede winkle pickers.
many thanks
"ROCKIN ROB"
ROBERT GALLON.
PS.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK BARBARA
THANKS

Hi Gilbert,
great programme as usual, can you believe we came back 12000 miles for one of your smiles and of course to listen to your programme. Maria and I will be there on Saturday, a worthy cause to say the least. How about Night on a Bare Mountain (the Ashmore arr. not the Antrobus) as a request.
Happy New Year Gaz and Maria Burgess

Happened to be down around Oldham last night (still fried) - what a great show and a great blend of well known, interesting, unusual and classic northern soul, r'n'b etc - really enjoyed it and the presentation - fabulous. Didn't know the Tommy Hunt - made up after the event or ? - obviously Tune Up is too late to suit the period style of the vocal.
Dave

PS Tripping On Your Love - The Tyrel Corporation (Jon Buck had a lot to do with it)
