On the 6th October 2005, broadcasting regulator OFCOM, announced the award of a 5 year full time community radio licence to Oldham Community Radio. Since then lots of work has been carried out in order to get the station 'on-the air', and in March 2007 we started broadcasting to the area on 99.7 MHz FM.
