Oldham Local Election 2011 Results

Polling Station SignThursday 5th May 2011 sees elections taking place in Oldham for both the Local Council, Parish Councils in Saddleworth and Shaw and Crompton and the national referendum on The Alternative Vote system.

Oldham Community Radio will be broadcasting a Results Special from Midnight.

We start with another chance to hear our ‘Chance to Meet’ special interviews with the local leaders of the main political parties, before crossing live to the Queen Elizabeth Hall in Oldham for all the news, information and the results live, along with interviews with councillors and candidates.

The first results are expected around 2:30am to 3:00am. Here all the results live.

Don’t worry if you can’t stay up, from 6am we will be broadcasting special election results bulletins at the start of each hour.

From 10am on Friday the Parish Council count commences, we’ll bring you the news on this from Midday.

Finally the referendum vote count commences at 4pm. Oldham Community Radio will broadcast the latest information on this in our hourly news bulletins.

Our special broadcasts will also be available to listen again via ‘Special Programmes’ category of our Listen Again service., and all the results will also be published on our website.
